In addition to the statutory warranty, Mungo s.r.l. (“Mungo”) offers for the selected Plano items an additional warranty: ‘Lifetime Warranty’ under the conditions stated below.
Mungo’s Lifetime Warranty reflects the company’s trust in the quality of the planning, production, design, and performance of Plano Products.
Mungo guarantees that Plano Products are manufactured in compliance with the applicable quality standards and that they come free from material or processing defects.
This Lifetime Warranty only applies to Plano Products that carry the relative “Lifetime Warranty” label.
To activate the Lifetime Warranty, the Customer (as defined below) must register their Plano Product on the website www.planolifetimewarranty.com within 30 (thirty) days from the purchase date.
Our Lifetime Warranty is given exclusively to the first purchaser of a Plano Product (i.e. the first purchaser from the dealer) who is also the end-user of the product, either a consumer or professional (being the Customer either private costumer or a company). Therefore, the rights resulting from the Lifetime Warranty are not transferable to any subsequent purchaser and expire permanently in case the Customer transfers the Plano Product to third parties.
The Lifetime Warranty allows the Customer to have their Plano Product repaired or replaced in the event of any nonconformity attributable to the manufacturer (Mungo) under normal use conditions or upon its sale/delivery.
This Lifetime Warranty covers Plano Products’ entire life-span, i.e. until the Customer disposes of it in compliance with Italian Legislative Decree 152/2006 (Environment Code).
This Lifetime Warranty covers all Plano Product manufacturing defects related to materials and processing under normal use conditions.
This Lifetime Warranty does not cover the following Plano Product components:
This Lifetime Warranty will not apply to the following defects:
Normal wear includes the deterioration resulting from the normal use of the Plano Product, as well as the natural discoloration and deterioration of the materials due to normal ageing.
In the presence of a nonconformity, Mungo recommends not using the Plano Product until it is repaired or replaced. To apply the Lifetime Warranty, the customer must request assistance to the authorised Plano Dealer from whom they have purchased the Plano Product.
Specifically, the customer must submit the following documentation (“Documentation”):
The Plano dealer will check, the entity of defects and whether they are covered by the Lifetime Warranty.
Once the abovementioned checks are complete, the Plano Dealer will forward the request to Mungo sending the faulty Plano Product.
Mungo will repair the Plano Product at its discretion within a reasonable period of time or will replace it with an equivalent product. Should this not be possible, Mungo will deliver another Plano Product with equivalent quality and performance levels, chosen among those available in the Plano Product range.
Otherwise, The Customer can contact Mungo directly by writing an email to plano@mungo.it. The email should contain a brief description of the defect and have a copy of the requested Documentation attached to allow Mungo to check that the requirements for the application of the Lifetime Warranty are met. After receiving confirmation, the Customer can send Mungo the Plano Product to be repaired or replaced.
For consumers who benefit from the rights pursuant to the various national consumer protection regulations, the benefits of this Lifetime Warranty are considered an addition to the solutions and protection ensured by national regulations.
The content of the Lifetime Warranty does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights set out in the consumer protection law.

The Lifetime Warranty is not applicable to defects resulting from normal wear, the direct exposure to sunlight and/or heat sources and consequent discolouration/deterioration of the materials; defects resulting from accidents or accidental damage; defects resulting from improper use, abuse or force majeure; defects resulting from the Customer’s negligence; defects resulting from fire, flooding, contact with corrosive liquids, animals, or other external causes; defects resulting from repairs made by third parties not authorised by Mungo. The Lifetime Warranty is given to the first purchaser of a Plano Product (i.e. the first purchaser from the Plano Dealer either a private customer or a company) who is also the end-user of the product, either a consumer or professional. It is necessary to submit a) the copy of the purchase proof (receipt, delivery note, or invoice), b) the certificate of the personal registration to the Lifetime Warranty, c) ID. Only the first purchasers of a Plano Product (i.e. the first purchasers from the dealer) who are also the end- users of the product, either consumers or professionals, can benefit from the Lifetime Warranty.
Lifetime means the entire life-span of a Plano Product, i.e. until the Customer disposes of it in compliance with Italian Legislative Decree 152/2006 (Environment Code). The rights resulting from the Lifetime Warranty are not transferable to any subsequent purchaser and expire permanently in case the Customer transfers the Plano Product to third parties.
The Lifetime Warranty does not cover defects resulting from the normal wear of the Plano Product. Mungo is aware that even the most protected product may undergo unexpected accidents. Should the Lifetime Warranty not cover the Plano Product fault, Mungo can decide to repair it or replace the faulty part, according to the price list. To benefit from this service, the Customer can contact Mungo by writing an email to plano@mungo.it.
Mungo manufactures Plano Products to meet the highest standards. However, these products can be affected by age and wear, regardless of the care they are used with. The Lifetime Warranty does not cover defects resulting from the normal wear of the Plano Product.
If your Plano Product has a manufacturing defect related to materials and processing, under normal use conditions, it will be repaired or replaced at Mungo’s sole discretion. If the Plano Product cannot be repaired or the costs for the repair exceed that of a new item, the product can be replaced by an equivalent one or, by a model with the same quality and performance chosen among those available in the Plano Product range. Mungo will, at its sole discretion, choose one of the options above.
In the event that the repair is not covered by the Lifetime Warranty, Mungo will inform the Customer about the possibility to repair it, requesting authorisation to proceed, whenever possible. The costs of any repair depend on the costs of the materials and time and labour required to carry out the repair.
Most spare parts are available for up to 2 (two) years after a Plano Product is discontinued.
Normally, it takes 7 (seven) to 14 (fourteen) working days. Information on the expected delivery date can be requested from your Plano Dealer.
